What changed in the new version

Updated September 14, 2026

The new version organizes ongoing work around Projects, Plugins, and Automations. Use these names when navigating Aleria or looking for help.

Projects replace workspaces

Workspaces have been removed. Projects are where you organize related chats, sources, instructions, skills, agents, apps, and automations. Your organization remains the place for membership and administration.

Open Projects to find the work you want to continue. Check the project's members, linked sources, and chat visibility before sharing new work. See Projects.

Automations replace agent tasks and heartbeats

The old agent Tasks and heartbeat features have been removed. Automations bring recurring and triggered work into one place, with instructions, a schedule or trigger, and a history of runs.

Open Automations to review the work that should continue running. Check its enabled state, schedule, connected account, and output access. If an expected item is missing after your organization's upgrade, contact your administrator rather than creating a duplicate immediately. See Automations.

Plugins include connectors

Open Plugins to discover capabilities and manage connections. A plugin may include a connector, skills, or other tools. A connector is the connection to an external account or service; enabling a plugin does not replace any sign-in or permission steps its connector requires.

See Plugins and connectors.
