Create and organize a project

Updated September 14, 2026

A project brings related work together around a goal. It can hold chats and link the Sources, instructions, skills, agents, apps, and automations that support that work.

Create a project

  1. Open Projects in the sidebar and choose the new-project action.
  2. Give the project a recognizable name and describe its purpose.
  3. Add the context needed for the first piece of work.
  4. Start a chat from the project.

You can also ask Aleria to help prepare a project. Describe its goal and the existing resources it should use, then review the resulting setup.

For example, create “Supplier review” for proposal comparisons, review instructions, supplier files, and the conversations that lead to a decision.

Organize ongoing work

Use separate chats for different questions within the same project. Pin projects you need often and use the project's settings to update its name or appearance. Linking an existing resource is different from creating another copy of it.

Archive a completed project

Archive a project when you want it out of the sidebar without deleting its chats or linked items. Read the confirmation before proceeding. Archiving is an organizational action; it is not a substitute for checking whether related automations should continue running.
