Aleria's meeting notetaker can join supported Microsoft Teams meetings, record the conversation, and provide a transcript for follow-up work. Set up the calendar connection through Plugins; this is separate from recording your own microphone in chat.
Connect your calendar
- Open Plugins and the Microsoft Calendar connector.
- Connect the calendar account containing the meeting invitations.
- Open the meeting-notes setup offered by the connector.
- For automatic capture, create an Outlook Calendar automation and review its meeting selection and instructions.
The calendar trigger is for Teams meetings. It does not mean every conferencing platform on your calendar is supported. You can choose the meeting scope and exclude meetings whose titles match specified words when those controls are offered.
During the meeting
Let participants know the meeting is being recorded and follow your organization's recording policy. The notetaker may wait in the Teams lobby until the organizer admits it. If the chat says it is waiting, check the lobby before restarting the setup.
After the meeting
Open the associated conversation to review the transcript. Ask Aleria for decisions, action items, or a follow-up document. Check names, responsibilities, and deadlines against the transcript before distributing the notes.
If notes are missing
Check the connected calendar account, meeting filters, automation state, and whether the notetaker joined successfully. Review the run's conversation for details.
