An agent is a reusable assistant configured for a particular role. It combines instructions with selected capabilities and skills so you do not have to explain the same working approach in every conversation.
Use an existing agent
Open Agents and choose an agent you can access. Read its description, then start a conversation with a concrete request. Provide the files and details needed for this particular piece of work.
For example, a procurement reviewer may know your review method, but still needs the supplier proposal you want assessed.
Create an agent
- Open Agents and choose the new-agent action.
- Describe the role in the builder, or enter its setup directly where offered.
- Give it a clear name and instructions.
- Review its skills, capabilities, and plugin access.
- Save the setup and test it with a representative request.
Tell it what a successful result looks like and how to handle missing information. Avoid instructions that claim access to a system you have not connected.
Reuse it
Attach the agent to a project when it should work with that project's context. Choose it in an automation when the same role should perform recurring or triggered work. Agent configuration defines how it works; the automation defines when the recurring work starts.
