You can have Aleria read any message out loud. This is useful when you are multitasking, commuting, or simply prefer to listen instead of read.
Read a message aloud
Every response from Aleria has a Read aloud control near the message. Press it and Aleria reads the message out loud. While it is playing, the control changes to Stop reading, so you can stop whenever you like.
You can listen to:
- Short answers
- Long explanations
- Generated summaries
- Step-by-step results
The voice is built in, so it works in every chat without any setup.
When to use it
- On the move: listen to a summary while walking between meetings.
- Multitasking: review a long report by ear while you work on something else.
- Accessibility: choose audio over text for any reason.
- Proofreading: hear how a drafted response sounds before you share it.
How it works
The voice runs inside Aleria, alongside everything else, so nothing is sent to an outside service. It is available in all chats and works with the languages Aleria supports. You do not need to install anything, change a setting, or pick a voice. Just press Read aloud.
Tips
- You can read a message as many times as you like.
- To stop, press Stop reading while the message is playing.
- Long messages are read in order, so you can start listening right away.
