Working in chat

Updated June 8, 2026

Chat is where you give Aleria a request, supply context, and review the work it produces. A conversation keeps your follow-up messages together so you can refine an answer or deliverable.

Give a useful brief

Include the goal, the intended audience, the sources to use, and the output format. For example: “Use the attached sales export to explain this month's change by region. Return a short summary and a spreadsheet of the calculations.”

Attach a file or choose a Source when the request depends on information that is not already in the conversation. You can select a plugin or standalone skill in the composer when you want to direct Aleria toward a particular capability.

Follow the work

Aleria may read information, use tools, and create files as it responds. Inspect the progress entries when you want to understand what happened. If it asks for missing information or an approval, respond before expecting that step to continue.

Use the stop control in a running chat when you want to interrupt it. Stopping a conversation does not undo an external action that has already completed.

Refine and give feedback

Ask follow-up questions in the same chat. Use the response feedback controls to rate an answer, and explain the correction in your next message if you want the work revised.
