If Aleria cannot use a file, first identify whether the problem is uploading it, preparing it, accessing it, or reading its contents. The remedy depends on where the failure occurs.
An upload does not finish
Check your connection and the error shown beside the upload. Try one file at a time. If the service reports a size or storage limit, use a smaller supported file or ask the organization administrator to review storage. Do not assume a file has uploaded because its name appears in the composer.
A file uploads but cannot be read
Open the original locally. Password protection, damaged files, image-only pages, or complex embedded objects can affect extraction. Supply an accessible export or a clearer scan when possible, and ask Aleria which sections it could read.
For spreadsheets, identify the relevant sheet and headers. For scans, compare extracted names, dates, and amounts with the original.
A file is missing
Confirm the account, organization, project, and folder. Check whether you have access to the Source and whether it was moved or deleted. A shared conversation does not necessarily mean you can browse every Source used by its creator.
Ask for help
Include the filename, format, approximate size, time of the attempt, and exact error. Share the file itself only through an appropriate support channel.
